Nani’s The Paradise Raw Statement is terrific

After “Dasara,” Nani, with director Srikanth Odela and producer Sudhakar Cherukuri of SLV Cinemas, is back. The Paradise, their upcoming project, is currently in the initial stages of production and is anticipated to showcase Nani in a bold, iconic role.

Today, the creators revealed a preview of the film entitled “Raw Statement.

Mother’s voice-over

The teaser begins with the character of a mother played by Sonali Kulkarni.

The gist of her voiceover conveys that the film revolves around a mother-son story, with Nani assuming the role of a leader for the oppressed. In the film, he is called an illegitimate child, aka “bast**d”. Hence, Nani’s character has the “tattoo—‘Lan*a Koduku”.

The voice-over goes like this

 “Throughout history, numerous accounts have been penned regarding parrots and pigeons, yet none have addressed crows of the same species. This narrative pertains to the crows whose bellies ached from hunger… The lamentations of the long-deceased entities that have traversed for eons… A narrative of a community nurtured by blood rather than maternal milk… A spark kindled, instilling enthusiasm throughout the entire community. Crows, previously disparaged, now wielded weapons. This narrative chronicle a defiant young man who consolidated the ravens… The narrative of the young man ascending to leadership…”

Nani appears in an unforeseen attire, carries muscular build and dual braids and his belt, inscribed with the word HERO, signifies his position as the leader of his people.

Director Srikanth Odela has assembled top technicians: GK Vishnu as cinematographer, Anirudh Ravichander as the music director, and Avinash Kolla as the production designer. The editing is being handled by Navin Nooli.

Spanish release

The Raw Statement, released in five languages including Spanish. The film will be released in eight languages – Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Bengali, Malayalam, Spanish, and Japanese. “The Paradise” is scheduled for cinematic release on March 26, 2026.
