Vaishnavi Chaitanya to take up a bold role

Telugu actress Vaishnavi Chaitanya, celebrated for her breakout role in the blockbuster Baby, is set to take a daring leap in her upcoming film. In a surprising revelation at a recent promotional event, producer Naga Vamsi announced that Vaishnavi’s next project will feature her in a bold avatar, complete with the use of expletives, marking a significant departure from her earlier girl-next-door image.

Naga Vamsi graced the pre-release event of “Jack,” which is arriving in theaters on April 10, as the guest. “Jack” features SidduJonnalagadda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya.

Naga Vamsi confirmed that Vaishnavi is playing the female lead in a film produced by him under the Sithara Entertainments banner.

“Vaishnavi’s next film will show her in a completely different light. She’ll be using language that’s not just bold but modern—expletives that aren’t your usual fare. We’re going all out to present her in a way audiences haven’t seen before,” Naga Vamsi said.

His remarks, which quickly went viral, have sparked a mix of anticipation and debate, given Vaishnavi’s reputation for portraying relatable, emotionally nuanced characters.

Sources indicate that the new project, likely the sequel to the web series 90s: A Middle-Class Biopic—also backed by Naga Vamsi—will reunite her with Anand Deverakonda, though no official title or confirmation has been released.
