Revanth Reddy’s secret meetings with ‘BJP’ leaders!

BJP leader Raja Singh alleged that some of the BJP leaders are secretly meeting Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He lamented that if BJP’s state leaders regularly meet Revanth Reddy, how will the party grow in the state and come to power?

Taking these allegations further, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) took to social media to make the same allegations. He said that Reddy conducted “secret” meetings with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders.

KTR, further speaking to the media in Hyderabad on Friday, asserted that Revanth Reddy’s covert negotiations with BJP leaders were a strategic maneuver to safeguard his political future under increasing pressure within the Indian National Congress.

KTR accused Revanth Reddy of engaging in clandestine politics while ostensibly opposing the BJP, branding the Chief Minister as a “cheap minister” and doubting his allegiance to Congress.

KTR urges Rahul Gandhi to take action

He additionally urged Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to take action, inquiring, “Rahul Gandhi consistently discusses BJP infiltrators within Congress.” Does he possess the audacity to oppose his Chief Minister, who is engaging in clandestine agreements with the BJP?

The BRS leader asserted that these meetings constituted a “broader conspiracy to undermine Telangana’s advancement,” citing recent remarks by BJP MLA Raja Singh as proof of Reddy’s alleged collusion with the saffron party. KTR’s allegations arise with increased tensions between the governing Congress and the opposition BRS, which is endeavoring to recover political influence following its defeat in the 2023 Telangana Assembly elections.
