Nayanthara fights with her director?

The highly anticipated sequel, Mookuthi Amman 2, starring Nayanthara, has found itself in the midst of controversy following a reported disagreement between the actress and an assistant director. The dispute, allegedly over a costumerelated issue, disrupted filming and led to a heated moment on set. 

According to media reports, tensions flared when Nayanthara reprimanded a crew member, creating unrest among the team. The situation escalated to the point where director Sundar C intervened, pausing the shoot indefinitely. This sparked speculation that the filmmakers were considering replacing Nayanthara, leading to further uncertainty surrounding the project. 

Tamannaah as a possible replacement? 

Amid the swirling rumors, reports surfaced that Tamannaah was being considered as a replacement if the issue remained unresolved. Tamannaah, who recently wrapped up Odela 2, has a strong working relationship with Sundar C, having collaborated with him on multiple projects. However, after producer Ishari K. Ganesh stepped in to mediate the dispute, discussions were held with Nayanthara, leading to a resolution. 

As a result, the Pollachi schedule was canceled, and filming resumed at the Ponniamman Temple in Alapakkam, Chennai. The production then continued in Nazarathpettai the following day, ensuring the project remained on track despite the temporary setback. 

Nayanthara’s controversies

This is not the first time Nayanthara has made headlines for offscreen disputes. The actress has recently been embroiled in a legal battle with actor Dhanush over the use of a clip from her film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in a documentary. The case remains unresolved. 

Additionally, there are ongoing reports that Nayanthara’s alleged “starry tantrums” and highhanded behavior have led to fewer offers in the Tamil industry. Once the goto actress for senior stars like Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, and Balakrishna, Nayanthara is now noticeably absent from their projects. Industry insiders speculate that her demanding attitude may be a factor behind this shift. 

Despite these controversies, Mookuthi Amman 2 continues production, and with the latest conflict seemingly resolved, fans are eager to see if the film will proceed smoothly moving forward.
