Puri Jagannadh to part ways with Charmme?

Rumors about Charmme Kaur and Puri Jagannadh parting ways have started gaining ground. They have been living together and working together as partners for many years now.

In the recent past, Puri Jagannadh has directed films with Charmme as either co-producer or producer. Though Puri Jagannadh is married with grown-up children, he didn’t hide his ‘special friendship’ with Charmme. During the lockdown period, both of them stayed in an apartment in Mumbai, while his wife and children stayed in Hyderabad.

However, rumors and speculation about a potential split—particularly in their professional collaboration—have surfaced periodically in Tollywood circles and media reports, with a notable uptick in chatter around early 2025.

Conditions

The latest buzz is that Nagarjuna Akkineni and other stars have put a condition on Puri Jagannadh’s ability to collaborate. They wanted him to disassociate with Charmme as a prerequisite for their collaboration. After delivering monster flops with Vijay Deverakonda starrer “Liger” and Ram Pothineni’s “Double iSmart,” Puri Jagannadh found that no Telugu star is coming forward to work with him.

He convinced Nagarjuna with a story recently, but the senior star wanted another producer and told him Charmme should be involved in production.

Therefore, Charmme will not be working as co-producer or producer with Puri Jagannadh for now.
