Shine Tom Chacko apologizes to Vincy Aloshious

Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko has issued a formal apology to his Soothravakyam co-star Vincy Aloshious following allegations of misconduct and suspected drug use during filming. The apology was delivered during a meeting of the film’s Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) held in Kochi on April 21, amid a controversy that has rocked the Malayalam film industry.

On April 16, Vincy filed complaints with the Kerala Film Chamber of Commerce and the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA), accusing Chacko of inappropriate behavior on set.

In a now-viral Instagram video, she alleged that Chacko, apparently under the influence of drugs, made her uncomfortable by offering to “fix” her dress in front of crew members and was seen with a white substance spilling from his mouth during a scene.

During the ICC hearing, Chacko reportedly described his behavior as his “natural style” but admitted that it may have been perceived as inappropriate. He apologized to Vincy and assured the committee of professional conduct in future collaborations, stating that no harm was intended.
