Meenakshi to checkmate CM Revanth Reddy

The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has recently announced new appointments for General Secretaries and State In-charges. Meenakshi Natrajan was appointed for Telangana, and Ajay Kumar Lallu for Odisha. These changes are aimed at strengthening the Congress party’s organizational structure and leadership across various Indian states and union territories.

However, many believe that the Congress high command has appointed Meenakshi Natrajan, who is seen as the trusted leader of Rahul Gandhi, to checkmate CM Revanth Reddy. Rumor has it that the Congress high command is suspicious of Revanth Reddy’s growing close relations with the BJP leader.

Meenakshi Natrajan will have more say in the state’s affairs regarding their party. So far, Revanth Reddy is having an absolute say in all matters in the state, but he will now be closely monitored by the central party.

Revanth Reddy has been trying to expand his cabinet, but he has not yet granted the permission. The government assumed power in December 2023. Still, there is no full cabinet in the state.
