Pawan Kalyan has no CM ambitions for now!

Pawan Kalyan’s fans want to see him in the position of Chief Minister. They are not satisfied with his current position as Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister. They are expecting that he would graduate to CM post in the coming years.

However, Pawan Kalyan seems to have no such ambitions or plans. Or it seems going by his latest statement.

Naidu will remain CM

Pawan Kalyan addressed a meeting on Monday, where he extended his support for Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. He asserted that Naidu will continue to lead the state as Chief Minister.

“Chandrababu Naidu garu will continue as Chief Minister, and we stand united in our commitment to the development and welfare of Andhra Pradesh,” Kalyan said, dispelling any speculation about a leadership change within the coalition.

He underlined the advancements achieved during Naidu’s term, especially in infrastructural growth and poverty-reduction projects such the ‘P4’ program meant to eliminate poverty by 2029.

Kalyan and Naidu together underlined their intentions to enhance the NDA’s government in Andhra Pradesh at the discussion, which concentrated on assessing the state’s developmental projects and forthcoming budget preparations for 2025–26.

A relief to TDP

There have been rumors that there is a gap growing between Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena party and Naidu’s TDP, as their party men and leaders are trying to have upper hand in local areas.

Moreover, Chandrababu Naidu is struggling to fulfil electoral promises due to paucity of funds and his government is navigating financial challenges. Pawan Kalyan praised Naidu’s efforts to rebuild the state despite a debt burden of Rs 10 lakh crore, calling him a “pillar of strength” for Andhra Pradesh.

Quashing internal conflicts

Amidst rumors of internal disagreements between Pawan Kalyan and Naidu, this statement from Pawan Kalyan is a relief for all parties concerned. The meeting concluded with both leaders expressing confidence in achieving their shared vision of a prosperous Andhra Pradesh.
