Allu Arjun has special request to Trivikram

Allu Arjun has delivered a massive hit with Pushpa 2, setting unprecedented records in the Hindi market. The film has become the second biggest blockbuster in Indian cinema, raking in a staggering Rs 1,800 crore worldwide.

With Pushpa 2 solidifying his position as one of India’s top stars, filmmakers believe that a film featuring Allu Arjun can easily recover a budget of Rs 800-1,000 crore. Acknowledging this potential, acclaimed director Atlee approached the star, formally establishing their collaboration.

Atlee’s ambitious project with Allu Arjun

Atlee, who recently tasted massive success with his Bollywood blockbuster Jawan, has penned a high-budget script requiring Rs 600to Rs800 crore. Initially, he envisioned the project with Salman Khan. However, the financial feasibility of recovering such an investment with Salman alone became a concern. As a result, Atlee changed course and reached out to Allu Arjun, who promptly agreed to participate.

To accommodate Allu Arjun’s packed schedule, Atlee has reportedly assured the actor that the film will be completed within eight months. Enthused by the timeline and the vision, Allu Arjun quickly agreed and allocated his dates.

Trivikram’s mythological epic was put on hold

Due to his commitment to Atlee’s film, Allu Arjun has requested Trivikram to postpone their collaboration to 2026. Trivikram had eagerly been waiting to direct his next film with Allu Arjun and crafted a grand mythological story inspired by Kartikeya, also known as Skanda and Murugan—the Hindu god of war and son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.

This ambitious project requires nearly two years of production time as Trivikram aims to utilize cutting-edge technology and create an unparalleled cinematic experience. Understanding the scale of the mythological film, Allu Arjun has asked Trivikram to wait for eight more months so that he can first wrap up Atlee’s movie before diving into this massive endeavor.

With these strategic moves, Allu Arjun is set to dominate Indian cinema with back-to-back big-budget blockbusters.
