Janhvi Kapoor recalls her toughest Dance song

Janhvi Kapoor has already cemented her place as a glamour icon in Bollywood. While she has acted in several Hindi films, her popularity soared after her appearance in Devara.

Despite having a limited role in the film, her beauty and mesmerizing dance in the song Chuttamalle turned out to be a career-defining moment for her. The song not only won her appreciation but also helped her gain a significant number of followers on Instagram.

However, contrary to popular belief, “Chuttamalle” was not the most challenging song of her career. Janhvi recently revealed that it was actually a song from Roohi (2021) that tested her the most. On the occasion of the film’s fourth anniversary, she reflected on the difficulties she faced while filming her first-ever dance number.

The actress shared that the song required intense rehearsals and a demanding performance, making it one of her toughest experiences on set. Despite the challenges, it ultimately helped her grow as a performer and prepared her for more ambitious dance sequences in her career.

Janhvi Kapoor’s statement

“4 yrs of #Roohi and my first solo dance number. I was such a kid. So nervous about this song. Hadn’t even learnt how to keep my eyes open without squinting under harsh lights…Rehearsed for 3 days between Goodluck Jerry’s shoot, shot in patiala all night for GLJ, flew out post pack up in the morning, shot Nadiyon Paar that night and finished the song in 7 hours with no sleep and flew back immediately to resume Jerry that day. She is currently starring with Ram Charan in Buchi Babu Sana’s untitled film “RC16.” The shooting is taking place in Hyderabad. Both Ram Charan and Janhvi are participating in the night shooting schedule. This release is her second Telugu film.

Janhvi Kapoor is also getting more offers in Telugu. Rumor has it that she is the front-runner for the lead female role in Allu Arjun’s upcoming film, which Atlee is directing. An official announcement is yet to come.

On the other hand, Nani is also trying to rope in someone for one of his films. He believes that if she comes onboard for one of his projects, his job will be easy for promoting the movie at a pan-India level.
