Pooja Hegde will play a deaf and dumb girl

Pooja Hegde has moved her focus to the Tamil film industry after not receiving any new offers in the Telugu film industry.

In the last two years, she has not appeared in a single Telugu film. Her Bollywood career is also not blooming. Pooja has been fortunate in landing a number of roles in the Tamil film industry, commonly known as Kollywood.

After finishing two major films, one with Suriya titled “Retro” and the other with Thalapathy Vijay titled “Jana Nayagan,” Pooja has secured another major assignment.

Pooja in the Kanchana franchise

According to the latest reports, Pooja Hegde has officially signed on for Raghava Lawrence’s ‘Kanchana 4,’ the next sequel in the hit horror-comedy franchise. This is her first collaboration with Lawrence.

Pooja was impressed by the storyline and her part, which is supposed to put her in a difficult position. Pooja Hegde has previously played ordinary glam girl roles. However, in “Kanchana 4,” she is expected to appear as a woman who is impaired and unable to communicate.

A challenge

This is a really surprising role for her fans. But she took on the task of portraying a girl who is deaf and dumb. The franchise, noted for its blend of supernatural elements, comedy, and social messages, has been enormously successful. Fans are now keen to witness Pooja Hegde enter the Kanchana universe.
