Samantha begins Naga Chaitanya’s tattoo removal

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has caught the attention of fans after recent Instagram posts revealed a significant change—her tattoo linked to ex-husband Naga Chaitanya appears to be fading.

Observers speculate that the actress is undergoing a tattoo removal process, signaling a step forward in her personal journey.

During her marriage to Naga Chaitanya, the duo had inked matching tattoos featuring two arrows, inspired by the phrase “Create your own reality.” This symbol held deep significance for them at the time. However, following their separation in 2021, Samantha seems to be gradually erasing the remnants of their shared past.

This is not the first time she has distanced herself from such symbols. Reports from the past suggested that she had removed another tattoo honoring Chaitanya—his nickname “Chay”—from her ribcage. With her latest pictures sparking fresh discussions, many believe she is now eliminating all traces of their once-meaningful ink.

Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya has also moved on. The actor was recently seen enjoying a kart racing session in Tamil Nadu with actress Sobhita Dhulipala. Chaitanya and Sobhita tied the knot in an intimate Hyderabad ceremony in December 2024.

Samantha, on the other hand, has openly spoken about personal growth since her divorce. A recent Instagram dump showcased her podcast preparation, outings with friends, and other personal milestones—subtle hints at a renewed phase in her life.

Additionally, rumors have been swirling about Samantha’s possible romance with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru, of the renowned Raj & DK duo. The two were spotted together at a pickleball match and a friend’s gathering, leading to speculation about a budding relationship. Neither has confirmed or denied the rumors.

Samantha and Naga Chaitanya: Marriage and divorce

Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya first met on the sets of “Ye Maaya Chesave” in 2010, where their on-screen chemistry blossomed into a real-life romance. After years of friendship and rumored courtship, they made their relationship official and got engaged in January 2017. Later that year, in October, they tied the knot in a grand wedding ceremony in Goa, blending both Hindu and Christian traditions.

However, their marriage took an unexpected turn, and in October 2021, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya announced their separation.

Professionally, Samantha last appeared in Raj & DK’s Indian adaptation of Citadel, Citadel: Honey Bunny. The series is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. She will also reunite with the duo for the web series Rakt Brahmand.

She recently turned producer and produced her first film, Shubam, on her banner—Tralala Moving Pictures.
