BRS Working President KT Ramarao (KTR) said the Congress Party is more dangerous than COVID-19. Criticizing Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, KTR said under the Congress rule, the state is witnessing a downturn of growth in all aspects.
He pointed out there is minimal growth in GST in the month of February 2025, which indicates low economic activity in the state.
In one of its worst performances, Telangana recorded just one percent GST growth in February this year, compared to last year’s 10 percent. The state now finds itself at the bottom of the list in terms of GST growth rate, alongside Arunachal Pradesh.
In this background, KTR lashed out at Revanth Reddy.
He characterized the one percent GST growth as a disgraceful decline. He asserted that, although corruption and commissions were proliferating under the Congress administration, state income was diminishing.
He accused Revanth Reddy of dismantling the economic basis established by the prior BRS administration over the course of ten years.
“Telangana, previously a leader in economic growth, has been relegated to the bottom under an inept chief minister,” he stated.
