Telangana students have once again made the state proud by excelling in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination 2024. The results, announced on April 22, 2025, highlight the achievements of several aspirants from the state, who secured top ranks in one of India’s most prestigious and competitive exams.
Leading the charge is Ettaboyina Sai Shivani from Warangal (Urban), who achieved an impressive All India Rank (AIR) 11, earning accolades from across the state.
In total, seven candidates from Telangana figured in the final list of 1,009 successful candidates. Other notable achievers include Sai Chaitanya Jadhav (AIR 68), Sai Vinod Krishna B (AIR 577), and Srinikesh Naik B (AIR 938).
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy congratulated the rankers and praised their success as a testament to the state’s initiatives.
Telangana’s strong performance this year is part of a larger trend: candidates from both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh secured a combined total of 33 ranks, including more than 13 in the top 100.
Many of these successful candidates come from humble, middle-class families, with parents working as teachers, farmers, or government employees. Their stories reflect the resilience and aspiration of Telangana’s youth, and the effectiveness of Hyderabad’s growing ecosystem of coaching centers and mentorship programs.
Revanth Reddy’s praise: “Telangana’s youth have proven their mettle in the UPSC 2024 results. Heartiest congratulations to AIR 11 Ettaboyina Sai Shivani and all seven rankers from our state!”
From Andhra Pradesh, standout performers include APM Reddy from Hyderabad, securing AIR 16, and Manohar Alekhya, who clinched AIR 22.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu also lauded the state’s achievers, stating, “The success of our candidates in UPSC 2024 is a proud moment for Andhra Pradesh. Their dedication inspires future generations.”
