Actress Nidhhi Agerwal is gearing up for two major releases this year. Despite this, a social media user recently voiced disappointment with the trajectory of her career.
A social media user recently drew comparisons between Nidhhi Agerwal and Sreeleela, pointing out that Sreeleela has seen a rapid rise to stardom in a relatively short span — something they felt Nidhhi hadn’t quite achieved.
The user wrote: “2019 ismart tarwatha em chesindi ? enni chesindi ? 2021 lo vachina sreeleela 20 + cinemalu chesindi?”
The comment didn’t sit well with Nidhhi. Clearly irked by the comparison, she responded firmly, stating that she’s in no rush and is more focused on choosing meaningful and quality projects over chasing instant fame.
“Ismart tarwata hero movie chesindi, 3 Tamil films chesindi AND hhvm film sign chesindi. I take my time and sign films that I feel are good scripts, sometimes I might be wrong but my intention is to be a part of good cinema. I’m in no hurry.. I’m here to stay brother don’t worry about me,” she replied.
Known for her roles in Telugu hits like iSmart Shankar and Savyasachi, Niddhi made waves online after delivering a sharp retort to an X user who compared her to fellow actress Sreeleela.
Fans flooded the comments, praising her for shutting down the unwarranted comparison while maintaining her dignity.
The incident comes at a time when Nidhhi is gearing up for her next Telugu projects, while Sreeleela is reportedly shifting focus to Bollywood after Robinhood’s poor performance. Both actresses, often celebrated for their dance skills and vibrant screen presence, have carved distinct paths in Tollywood, making the comparison a hot topic online.
This isn’t the first time Nidhhi has addressed online chatter. Known for her candid social media presence, she often engages with fans and critics alike.
Nidhhi Agerwal has big-budget films Hari Hara Veera Mallu alongside Pawan Kalyan, and The Raja Saab starring pan-Indian superstar Prabhas, up for release. With both projects carrying massive expectations, Nidhhi has pinned her hopes on their success.
