Nandamuri Balakrishna gifted a luxurious Porsche car to music director S. Thaman as a token of appreciation for his work on their recent films. This gesture has been widely covered in the media, highlighting their successful collaboration on blockbuster movies including “Akhanda” and “Daaku Maharaaj.”

But now new reports have emerged.

Balayya allegedly didn’t pay for this car. Instead, he asked the producers of his current film to buy the car.

Balakrishna is currently working on “Akhanda 2: Taandavam,” in the direction of Boyapati Srinu, with 14 Reels Plus bankrolling the film. As part of the remuneration, we will be getting more than Rs 35 crore for this project. Balayya reportedly agreed to cut Rs 3 crore from remuneration.

Rebate in remuneration

Balayya used this rebate amount to purchase the Porsche car, which she then gifted to Thaman. Balakrishna and the Telugu Desam party have recently formed a close association with Thaman. His fans have started calling him Nandamuri Thaman. There are also rumors that the Porche car was gifted as part of payment for his recent concert in Vijayawada as part of NTR Trust activities. He did this concert without taking money.
