Actor Manchu Manoj has lately been landing in many controversies and cases. In Hyderabad, he recently created a lot of nuisance by forcibly entering his father’s house. He also caused a disturbance by making provocative remarks. Hyderabad police threatened to put him in jail if he created a nuisance again.
The Tirupati police apprehended him on Monday night between 11 PM and 1 AM, according to the latest information. He was transported to the Bakaraopet police station.
Earlier that day, Manoj and his spouse, Bhuma Mounika, participated in the Jallikattu festivities in the Chandragiri constituency. The event took place in Chandragiri Mandal, featuring a grand procession near the Gangamma temple.
Police’s version
The Tirupati police said he was staying in the deep forest and indulging in activities that are prohibited in the forest. The police asked him to leave the area; he reportedly had an altercation with the officers.
Manoj’s version
Manoj said he was being pressured by outside forces to arrest him. Manoj’s acting career has suffered for a long time, and he is currently not involved in any films. Although he played a key role in the upcoming film “Bhairavam,” his acting career is mostly not happening.
He and his wife have landed in problems related to money and claims of inheritance.
