Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has announced that the highly anticipated Mega DSC (District Selection Committee) notification will be released in the first week of April 2025.
Speaking at a collectors’ conference today, he outlined the government’s commitment to strengthening employment opportunities and enhancing the education sector.
The Mega DSC recruitment drive aims to fill 16,347 teacher vacancies across the state, addressing a critical demand in schools.
Naidu assured that the hiring process would be fast-tracked, with appointments expected to be completed by June 2025, in time for the new academic year. “This is a crucial step toward fulfilling our commitment to Andhra Pradesh’s youth while ensuring quality education for our children,” he stated.
Seen as a major initiative to combat unemployment, the recruitment drive is one of the largest in the state’s history and aligns with key promises made during the recent elections. The Mega DSC notification is expected to create opportunities for thousands of aspiring teachers, generating widespread enthusiasm among job seekers and educators alike.
The official notification, set to be released next month, will provide detailed information on eligibility criteria, application procedures, and examination dates.
