The Andhra Pradesh government, led by CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu, is considering appointing Telugu actress Meenakshi Chaudhary as the state’s Women Empowerment Ambassador to advance gender equality and women’s upliftment.
They reportedly made this decision ahead of International Women’s Day on March 8. By hiring a popular actress as the brand ambassador, the government officials believe that promoting women’s rights and economic independence will be easy.
Meenakshi Chaudhary, recognized for her performances in successful films such as Lucky Baskhar and Sankranthiki Vasthunam, infuses her star power and motivational journey into the role.
The 28-year-old from Haryana gained recognition after winning Femina Miss India Grand International 2018 and securing the position of first runner-up in Miss Grand International that same year. Her evolution from a dental surgery student to a renowned actress has established her as an emblem of persistence and accomplishment, attributes the Andhra Pradesh government aims to utilize to motivate women throughout the state.
Meenakshi expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “I am profoundly honored to assume this responsibility.
But the government has not yet made an official statement about Meenakshi Chaudhary’s appointment as brand ambassador. Meenakshi Chaudhary is currently acting alongside Naveen Polishetty in “Anagana Oka Raju.”
