Rukshar Dhillon, the actress of the upcoming film “Dilruba,” made headlines when she alleged that some persons are taking her photographs much against her consent and even after telling them she was uncomfortable. She didn’t name anyone, but she pointed to the photographers and journalists sitting in the front row during her press event.
Photographers from various media outlets took offense at Rukshar Dhillon’s comments and banned her. Photographers declined to take pictures of the film’s promotional event if Rukshar was in the frame.
She voluntarily left the stage when photographers protested. She is not being covered by journalists.
Rukshar Dhillon also stopped wearing revealing clothes after that incident. Earlier she used to wear outfits like off-shoulder gowns that revealed her cleavage and bosom more than required. When photographers clicked her in that pose, she felt unsortable. Similarly, she used to wear skirts with thigh slits.
But now, she is opting for more traditional outfits like sarees and chudidhars. Will those choices help her profession?
Rukshar Dhillon has played the main female lead alongside Kiran Abbavaram in “Dilruba,” which arrives in theaters on March 14. She needs to deliver a hit. So far, she has not witnessed any blockbusters in her career, even after appearing in many films.
Some of Rukshar Dhillon’s Telugu films are Nani’s Krishnarjuna Yuddham, Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam, and ABCD.
