Rashmika Mandanna has become one of the biggest pan-Indian stars in Indian cinema. Even before she became a national-level movie star, she was called “National Crush,” which was the reason for her social media superstardom. Cashing in on that image, she bagged Bollywood films and gained some of the biggest blockbusters ever. Her blockbusters include “Animal,” “Pushpa 2,” and “Chhaava.”

Each of these three big blockbusters cemented her position as the top actress. But unlike other actresses, she still commands reasonable remuneration and doesn’t charge a hefty pay check. However, she hoped to increase the remuneration drastically after the success of “Sikandar,” starring Salman Khan. But the film became a monumental failure, with many shows getting cancelled across India just after three days of its theatrical release, proving that the film was completely rejected by the audience.

Plans derail…

Although Rashmika had seen underperformance of her films in Bollywood with projects like “Goodbye” and “Mission Majnu,” the flop of “Sikandar,” which arrived in theaters after three blockbusters, hurt her. The film doesn’t affect her stardom at all but will hamper her plans of hiking remuneration.

What’s next for Rashmika Mandanna?

Rashmika Mandanna has been juggling films both in the Telugu cinema industry, which has made her a star, and in Bollywood.

Here’s the list of films that she will appear in next…

1. Kuberaa: The Telugu film features Dhanush as the hero. Directed by Sekhar Kammula, the film is set for release in June this year. It also has Nagarjuna playing a key role. Kuberaa is also set for pan-Indian release.

2. The Girlfriend: This is her first female-centric movie. Directed by Rahul Ravindran, The Girlfriend will bring out the acting capabilities of a different dimension in her.

3. Thama: This Bollywood film centers around a vampire storyline and stars Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role as Thama, a man-turned-vampire.
