NTR is gearing up for yet another high-octane action spectacle—”Dragon”, directed by Prashanth Neel of “KGF” and “Salaar” fame. NTR is pushing the boundaries once again, undergoing an intense body transformation to achieve a mean and lean look for this highly anticipated film.
While NTR has been maintaining a terrific physique since “Aravinda Sametha,” his role in Dragon” demands an even more chiseled and battle-hardened physique. He bulked up for films like “RRR” and “Devara” and is now shedding excess mass to sport a sharper, more defined frame. This transformation is not just about aesthetics—it’s a strategic move to enhance his agility, flexibility, and combat-readiness for Prashanth Neel’s signature action sequences.
According to sources close to the project, Neel has envisioned NTR in an avatar that blends raw intensity with a slick, deadly charm. The director, known for crafting high-energy action heroes, wants NTR’s character to exude both menace and speed, making him a formidable force on screen.
To achieve this new look, NTR has been following a meticulously planned fitness regimen under the guidance of top fitness trainers.
In addition to his workout routine, NTR has adopted a specialized diet focusing on high-protein, low-carb meals, ensuring that he maintains muscle tone while cutting down on unnecessary fat.
Prashanth Neel is a filmmaker who thrives on large-scale storytelling, dark atmospheres, and intense character arcs. With “Dragon,” he aims to showcase NTR in a never-seen-before avatar. Given Neel’s track record, fans can expect high-voltage fight sequences, explosive visuals, and a gripping narrative.
For NTR, this collaboration is an exciting challenge, pushing him beyond his comfort zone. Neel’s reputation for extracting raw performances from his actors, coupled with NTR’s dedication, promises a cinematic spectacle of epic proportions.
NTR was until now working on “War 2,” his first Bollywood movie. The film also features Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan. During the final leg of filming, Hrithik Roshan sustained an injury on the sets during dance rehearsals. As a result, NTR returned to Hyderabad from the Mumbai sets, halting the filming until Hrithik Roshan heals.
Given this delay, NTR will be achieving the mean look for “Dragon” and starting work on it. The film had already commenced its shooting without NTR last month. Prashanth Neel doesn’t waste his time, and he plans shooting progress meticulously.
Until NTR is ready for the shooting of “Dragon,” Prashanth Neel will complete sequences with other actors.
