Manoj claimed in his complaint that about 150 persons destroyed his Jalpally home while he was gone and that various goods, including cars, were taken from there.

Manoj weeps in front of the media

Manoj conducted an emotional press conference when he wept in front of the journalists. Visibly upset, he remarked, “I toiled like a laborer for my brother; this is what I receive in return.”

Manoj said Vishnu planned the theft and damage during their continuing family and property conflicts. He claimed ongoing harassment and threats as well, begging officials for a complete and just inquiry.

“I always tried to keep the family united. But I’ve been pushed to this point,” Manoj said.

Manchu Manoj reportedly submitted photographs, witness statements, and maybe CCTV footage to the police in his complaint.

Long-standing issue

Manoj, Vishnu, and their father, veteran actor Mohan Babu, have been making headlines for the past four months. They filed cases against each other. Mohan Babu lives with his elder son, Vishnu, and he is supporting him, while Manoj lives separately. Manoj said this whole fight is not about properties and inheritance but about self-respect.

Manoj claims Vishnu not only stole but also used intimidation against him and his family.

Manoj spoke about the personal price the fight has caused as he closed the news conference. “It’s about trust and betrayal, not only about property,” he remarked, dabbing his eyes.

Pahadi Shareef police verified that the inquiry is ongoing and a case has been filed.
