Megastar Chiranjeevi has recently been in the news for his various statements. He was also heavily trolled for these statements. He made comments about him wanting a grandson from his son Ram Charan and daughter-in-law Upasana so that he could continue his legacy. This has sparked widespread discussion and attracted criticism. Then he made comments about politics.

He has also announced a couple of new projects, including one with director Srikanth Odela, with Natural Star Nani producing it. Fans are eager to learn the release date of “Vishwambhara,” initially scheduled for January 10, 2025.

Poor VFX work

Visual effects are causing a delay in the much-awaited socio-fantasy film Vishwambhara.

Directed by Vassishta Mallidi, known for his work on Bimbisara, and produced by UV Creations, “Vishwambhara” began its production with the aim to be a visual spectacle. However, Chiranjeevi and the producers were not satisfied with the visual effects. Our sources say the team ordered a reshot and rework on the graphics.

Hence, the producers are not able to announce its new release date.

Huge budget

The movie also boasts a stellar cast, including Trisha Krishnan as the leading lady, alongside Ashika Ranganath, and rumored cameos by mega family members Sai Dharam Tej and Niharika Konidela. Adding to the intrigue, the plot follows the journey of a newborn traversing the realms of gods, humans, and the underworld, promising a narrative rich in mythology and emotion. Chiranjeevi, who last appeared on screen in 2023 with the hit Waltair Veerayya and the underwhelming Bhola Shankar, has been selective with his projects following the latter’s reception.
