James Cameron has announced that ‘AVATAR: FIRE & ASH,’ the third film in the Avatar franchise, will surpass the runtime of its predecessor, ‘AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER,’ which was 3 hours and 12 minutes.
This film, Avatar 3, will be nearly three and a half hours long.
Set for release in December this year, James Cameron is currently finalizing the runtime and final edit for the movie.
“Avatar” movies, both part 1 and part 2, were enormously successful around the world. Both films set massive box-office records for Hollywood movies in India. The Telugu version of “Avatar 2” was a giant hit in Hyderabad.
‘Avatar 3’ promotional materials suggest a theme of intense conflict and transformation, highlighted by fiery imagery contrasting with the cool, blue elements of the Avatar world.
Some fans express enthusiasm for longer films, while others humorously speculate on the movie’s potential length, indicating a broad spectrum of anticipation and apprehension about the film’s extended runtime.
Telugu films will not compete with “Avatar 3” in December. Many films are postponed to Sankranthi.
